Heart Racer: A Billionaire Love Story Page 13
Abby, Lauren, and Katie all laughed. “Yes,” Katie said after a moment. “You’re going to be great, though. Just think about how rewarding the end of the day is going to feel. You’re going to be Mrs. Teller!”
I smirked. “Mrs. Redwood-Teller,” I said. “I can’t believe all of this is happening and that pretty soon I’ll be a fully licensed and certified vet tech too!”
It was hard to believe that I’d started the vet tech program right smack in the middle of wedding planning, but Jake had even said that he’d expected no less. Between the program I’d enrolled in, work, and planning the most lavish wedding of a century, I’d been feeling really ragged lately.
I was looking forward to the reception, but I was looking forward to the honeymoon even more. Jake had booked a private bungalow for us in Bora Bora. There was a private beach, a private pool, and twenty-four hour room service.
It was going to be a lot like our previous travels, except even better because we’d finally admitted our feelings for each other and decided to commit.
The door to the bridal suite opened and Jake’s mother, Brenda, poked her blonde-frosted head into the room.
“Girls, it’s almost time,” she said. “Come on, Abby. Time to go!”
My heart skipped a beat and I swallowed nervously before glancing at myself in the mirror. Lauren had done a beautiful and tasteful job with my makeup, and Katie had arranged my hair in a half-up, half-down hairstyle that accentuated my facial features. The veil I’d chosen looked beautiful in the early afternoon sunlight. All in all, I couldn’t believe that it was really Olivia Redwood in the mirror. This girl didn’t look like a hot mess. She didn’t look like someone who hopped from place to place, avoiding commitment.
She looked like an adult. I smiled to myself as I realized that I’d finally grown up. I was finally able to admit to myself what was important in life–Jake, dedication, and personal success.
I was just glad I’d been able to change before it had been too late.
“Liv, come on,” Brenda said. She paused by the mirror and stared at my reflection, wiping a tear from her eye. “You look beautiful. I’m so pleased to welcome you into my family.”
I blushed. “I’m happy to be your daughter-in-law,” I said. “And I’m ecstatic to be Jake’s wife.”
Brenda smiled. “He couldn’t have asked for a better girl,” she said. “I know the two of you will be so happy together.”
As Brenda guided me downstairs to the reception hall of the grand hotel, another nervous thrill passed through my body. The next time I saw Jake, he’d be waiting for me at the altar. And the next time we kissed, I’d be his wife.
Holy shit, I thought. This is incredible!
Brenda gave me a final once-over before leaving me in the foyer. The bridesmaids—Lauren, Abby, Katie, and Jake’s cousin Melanie—were stunning in their light pink gowns. When she saw me, Katie squealed and rushed over.
“You’re so gorgeous,” Katie said. She handed me a large bouquet of peonies and leafy ferns. “And this is going to be the most beautiful wedding.”
I grinned. “God, I’m nervous,” I said. “What if I trip? What if I fall? What if I cry the whole time and stain my dress?”
Katie rolled her eyes. “Stop worrying,” she said. “The Liv I know doesn’t panic so easily, does she?”
I swallowed and stood up tall. “No,” I said, trying to summon my usual calm. “She doesn’t.”
From the next room, an organ began to play. Katie and I watched breathlessly as Jake’s little cousin Henry and his sister, Liza, solemnly carried the ring pillow and a basket full of petals into the room.
Thirty seconds later, Katie squeezed my hand. She and the other bridesmaids held their bouquets stiffly in front of their bodies as they proceeded into the hall. When I was left alone, a cold sweat raced down the back of my neck.
I’m going to fuck this up, I thought nervously. I’m going to trip or my shoe is going to break or I’m going to walk too fast and everything’s going to be screwed…
Liv!” The wedding planner, Joanne, tapped me on the shoulder. “It’s your turn!”
I blushed hotly as I slowly walked into the room. All eyes turned to me and the music swelled as I walked down the aisle, holding my breath. I was grateful to have the bouquet in my hands as I made my way down to the aisle where Jake was standing at the altar, beaming with love and pride.
Oh my God, I thought. He’s standing! I can’t believe it but he’s actually standing up! Oh my God! Oh my God! My mind was racing as fast as Jake’s old car by the time I got to the altar.
The minister smiled kindly down at Jake at me. “We are here today, to join this man and this woman,” he began loudly. “Jacob Teller and Olivia Redwood, in the act of marriage.”
Jake took my hand and squeezed. I stared at him in surprise. Part of me was dying to interrupt the ceremony and demand to know how long he’d been able to stand. The other part of me was so happy to see Jake back on his feet that I felt like breaking out into song and dance, right there at the altar.
The minister’s words faded into a haze as I stared happily at my soon-to-be-husband. In his black tuxedo, I’d never seen Jake look more handsome. His blonde hair was slicked back from his tan forehead, and his blue eyes sparkled with youth and happiness that I hadn’t seen since the day we’d met. I smiled happily.
“Do you, Jacob Teller, vow to take this woman for the rest of your life? To love and honor, to cherish and protect, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?”
Jake affirmed the minister’s words with confidence and ease. When he was finished, he winked at me and I felt my cheeks burn bright red.
“Do you, Olivia Redwood, vow to take this man for the rest of your life? To love and honor, to cherish and protect, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?”
My tongue was thick and woolly but I managed to reply clearly. “I do.”
“Then, I am more than pleased to announce that by the power invested in me by the state of Florida, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Jake grinned. I stepped closer and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me into a long, intimate kiss. He dipped me down and I blushed harder as the crowd around us began to clap and cheer and whistle.
“I now present, Mr. and Mrs. Redwood-Teller!”
The applause grew louder and louder. Jake pulled me closer for another kiss and I nipped at his lower lip.
“How the hell did you keep that a secret from me,” I whispered in his ear before pulling away. “I can’t believe it!”
Jake grinned. He winked, then offered me his arm. “I do believe I escort the bride down the aisle,” he said gallantly. “May I?”
I melted. “Yes,” I whispered softly. “Yes, please do.”
My eyes filled with happy tears as Jake and I walked down the aisle, finally husband and wife. I noticed that while he wasn’t exactly walking with ease, he wasn’t sweating and straining. I still couldn’t believe it—how had he managed to keep that from me for so long?
At the end of the aisle, Jake’s best man, Jamie, walked over and gave him a big hug. Then Jamie leaned in and kissed me politely on the cheek.
“I’m so proud of you, man,” Jamie said. He grinned. “I knew you’d get there.”
Jake laughed. “I couldn’t have done it without you,” he said. He grinned. “I guess that little stress ball was really worth a lot!”
“I can’t believe you’re walking,” I said softly. “How the hell did you keep that a secret?”
Jake and Jamie laughed. “It wasn’t easy,” Jake said. “But you were so busy studying and planning the wedding that I had a lot of free time to myself.” He smirked. “There was a reason I never told you to slow down.”
I blushed. “I feel so stupid for not noticing,” I said.
“Don’t Liv,” Jake said firmly. “I made sure to stay in a chair as much as I could when you were around. I didn’t w
ant you getting any ideas before the big day.”
I threw my arms around his neck and squeezed. “I’m just so happy for you,” I whispered into Jake’s ear. “And I couldn’t be more proud.”
Jake’s hands slid down my body and squeezed my ass. I blushed and squealed but Jake only laughed. “I’m proud of you too, babe,” he said. “You’re going to be the best wife ever.”
Jake and I posed for photos with the wedding party outside of the grand hotel. The weather was a perfect Florida day with bright sunshine and barely any clouds. The smell of the ocean wafted by in a perfect breeze. I couldn’t remember ever feeling happier or more joyful now that I’d finally gotten a perfect ending.
When we were done, Jake held my hand and we stared at the sunset. “I know we have to go inside for the reception,” Jake teased, nibbling my neck and making me shiver. “But part of me is tempted to just rip that dress off right here and make love to you on the beach.”
I blushed. “That would be a sight to see,” I said, glancing over my shoulder. Sure enough, the whole wedding party was watching us. “We really should go in,” I added. “Just for a few hours.”
Jake pretended to groan. “I don’t think I can last for more than a few hours,” he said. “I’ve been dying for you ever since I first saw you in that dress.” He grinned devilishly and a hot bolt of arousal soared through my body.
“You’re not looking so bad yourself, handsome,” I teased, running my hand down Jake’s neck.
“Come on, Mrs. Redwood-Teller,” Jake whispered. “Let’s go have one hell of a party…and then take it upstairs, alone.”
As we walked into the ballroom, the applause and cheers was almost deafening. I smiled brightly, expecting to cry again. But the nervous, emotional part of the day was over, and now I was ready to celebrate and start relaxing.
When I saw Skip, one of Jake’s former Laconick teammates approaching, I almost groaned. The last time I’d seen him was at that disastrous party, where his fiancée had told me that Jake and I wouldn’t last. I’d love to see her face now, I thought almost smugly as Skip strode towards us. I bet she’d have some serious crow to eat.
“Man!” Skip pulled Jake into a hug. “Jacob, you’re looking fine, brother!”
Jake grinned. “I feel fine!” he said. He glanced down. “I still can’t believe I’m back on my feet.”
“Neither can I, brother, neither can I.” Skip turned to me and took my hand in his. “And I must give my regards to the beautiful bride—best wishes for both of y’all, and I hope your marriage is long and happy.”
I smiled warmly. “Thank you,” I said.
“So, Jake, now that you’re all tied down with a ball and chain,” Skip winked at me, “how do you feel about coming back to Laconick?” Skip crossed his arms over his chest. “Andy talks about you all the time—says he really regrets treating you like that. You were one of the best drivers we ever had, brother.”
We hadn’t really talked about it. I turned to Jake, suddenly nervous about how he might answer.
Jake smiled. He raked a hand through his air and gave me an easy grin. “Nope,” he said. “Not for me.”
“What?” Skip’s jaw dropped. “Are you sure, man? You don’t wanna be out there, racing and making gobs of money again?”
Jake nodded seriously. “Yup.” His tone was light, but I could tell that he was completely sincere. “It’s not for me anymore.”
“So, what’re you gonna do?” Skip narrowed his eyes. “You’re wasting a lot of talent, my friend. You should really give this a think.”
“I would,” Jake said. “But I was never as good at racing as I was as a mechanic. That’s where my future lies.” He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me close. “And besides, until I met Liv, working on cars was my first love.”
I expected Skip to protest—by Jake’s nervous expression, I could tell that he did, too. But after a moment, Skip nodded his head solemnly. He reached for Jake’s hand and they shook.
“Alright, brother,” Skip said. “I respect that.” He dipped his head to me in a slight bow. “You gotta do what works for you.”
Jake pulled me close. “Yes, I do,” he whispered so low only I could hear. “Yes I do.”

When Jake and I got upstairs to the honeymoon suite, our hands were all over each other. He pulled and ripped my dress away from the bodice. My breasts popped out and I moaned with longing and desire. I reached for the zipper and tugged at the rest of the fussy, ivory material. My skin was hot and desperate for Jake’s touch by the time I pulled my dress away. When I stood in front of him clad only in a strapless bra and blue silk panties, I shivered with lust.
Jake stared at me with fire in his eyes. He sat down on the bed and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close and burying his face in my flat, toned stomach. I moaned softly as his tongue traced delicate circles around my belly button before sliding in. It felt both obscene and sexual. I tilted my head back and bit my lip. Jake let his hands wander down to my ass. He squeezed until I spread my legs and thrust my hips forward. Between my legs was a throbbing mess of arousal. When Jake’s fingers trailed lightly over the crotch of my panties, I cried out with lust.
“Something blue,” Jake whispered as he slid a finger inside my panties. I moaned at the touch of his skin against mine. Rather than tease me like usual, Jake pulled my panties down. I stepped out of them and kicked them to the side, spreading my legs and leaning forward. Jake slid a finger inside of me, then two, finally three. I moaned as he beckoned against the inner walls of my womanhood, making me weak in the knees. I could barely stand when he lowered his face to my crotch. When Jake’s lips found my clit and began to suck, pleasure and lust flooded my body in a delicious, tingly sensation. I groaned softly and spread my legs as widely as I could without climbing on the bed.
Jake wrapped an arm around my ass and pulled me on top of him. He continued sucking and licking and fingering me as I moaned and buried my face in the sheets. Pleasure raced through my veins and my lower belly felt tingly and hot as I felt myself come closer and closer to a powerful orgasm. When Jake began flicking his tongue over my clit, I gasped and moaned and arched my back. He was so strong that I could barely move. All of that therapy really paid off, I thought as Jake’s muscular arms held me in place as he pleasured me. He was never this strong before.
Jake licked me faster than ever and I moaned, biting my lip as an orgasm crested over me. It made my whole body tense and tingle with pleasure and I felt myself grinding my hips against his face, desperate and thirsty for more pleasure. When Jake emerged, his lips and chin were coated with my juices. I grinned and shifted my position before leaning down to kiss him. Licking Jake’s lips clean sent another tingle of arousal rushing through my body.
“You’re still dressed,” I whispered, sliding my hands in Jake’s jacket and tugging it off. Jake fumbled with the buttons at his collar, pulling the white tuxedo shirt away from his golden chest and abs. His muscles rippled with the effort and I undid his trousers, sliding them down his hips and staring happily at his massive erection.
Jake grinned. He leaned back, clad only in boxers, his cock straining the cotton. With a devilish gleam in my eye, I stared Jake down as I wrapped a hand around his erection and slowly pumped my hand up and down. Jake rolled his eyes back in his head and groaned, gripping handfuls of the sheet as I pleasured him. He was so big that my fist couldn’t close around his member, and I flushed hotly as I thought about how it would feel to finally make love to my husband.
“Oh God, Liv,” Jake groaned. He grunted and strained against my hand before shoving me away and tearing his boxers down. With the same fervor, he ripped my strapless bra away from my body and pulled me close. Jake pushed me over on my back and started a long, slow trail of kisses. He kissed my forehead, my cheeks, my chin, before nudging my head up and exposing my neck. When I felt his hot lips and tongue sucking and biting at my neck, I tangled my hands in his hair and pulled. J
ake responded by biting me in a way that was almost painful. The slight pain mingled with the pleasure flowing through my body and I moaned softly as Jake moved further and further down. He kissed my collarbone and my chest before moving to my breasts and taking a stiff nipple between his lips. Jake ran his tongue over the swollen surface and I moaned loudly as arousal pulsed in my body. He took my other breast with his hand and started rubbing his thumb over my nipple, gently pinching me with his fingers. Pleasure shot through me like molten lava and I squirmed and writhed on the bed, helpless in Jake’s hands.
When Jake pulled his hand away, I pulled him close and kissed him deeply. Our tongues met and I tasted my own arousal mingled with the champagne and caviar from the reception. He tasted like every exotic trip I’d ever wanted to take. He tasted perfect.
He tasted like home. I moaned softly as Jake nibbled at my lip. He reached between our bodies and pushed my legs apart until my thighs were spread wide on the creamy sheets. When I felt the head of Jake’s cock poking at my womanhood, I moaned softly and arched my back.
“Are you ready for me,” Jake whispered in my ear. He nipped at my delicate earlobe and I shivered.
“I’ve always been ready,” I whispered back. “I love you.”
Jake kissed me tenderly. He steadied himself with a hand against my pelvis. His dark blue eyes were filled with lust, love, and tenderness.
“I love you, Liv,” Jake whispered. “I always will.”
He slid inside of me before I could answer. His cock filled my body completely, like he was made just for me, and I moaned softly as Jake began to rock back and forth against my hips. His cock slid in and out of me and I groaned, grabbing tangles of the sheets and gritting my teeth as a liquid pleasure soared through my body.
I wrapped my legs around Jake’s waist and thrust my hips up, savoring the sensation of his cock as it plunged inside of me, again and again and again. A layer of sweat broke out over our bodies and soon the room was filled the scent of animalistic musk. We rocked together, our bodies tangling and twisting with lust as we made love. When Jake thrust his hips against mine and buried himself to the hilt, I held my breath and threw my head back in the pillows. His hands on my body and his lips on my neck were almost enough to make me come, and I knew that I was close to having the most explosive orgasm of my life.
